1940s Georgia State Patrol pin.  Made during the war to save on precious wartime materials.  This came to me in a collection of military unit crests also made in plastic by the same company.  7/8ths of an inch tall by 3/4s of an inch across in size.  Maker marked on the reverse side
"WHITEHEAD&HOAG"
On the pin backstrap plastic piece in a circular raised mark.  Pin back with a simple hook pin catch.
