Irradiated Mail from USPS US Postal Service December 2001 ANTHRAX SCARE UNOPENED.
This is from the big ANTHRAX scare in the US Mail after 9/11. The post office was irradiating all mail in an attempt to insure that it had been disinfected and was of no danger to the recipient. The mail (an advertising catalog in this case) was then sealed in an official USPS plastic bag and delivered as addressed.
This seal is unbroken and the mail is exactly as delivered in 2001. It’s been sitting in my desk for just about 20 years.
Condition is "New".
